He enjoyed watching college sports, especially basketball and football, and he was an avid fan of the Oklahoma Sooners. Over the past thirty years, Denis loved and enjoyed raising his two Schnauzers and his German Shepherd.

Denis always looked forward to his role in planning high school reunions for the class of 1962. He and his fellow classmates were so close over the years that they formed the High School Friends Class of ’62, a group of friends that continue to gather four times per year for lunch, and have a large picnic every spring in Croton Point Park.
Denis was a very caring man, always available for the needs of family, friends, and others, as evidenced by his generosity to several charities.
