She wasn't a celebrity. She wasn't famous. But she was generous, kind, loving, and always had the best advice. She was quick with a hug and fiercely loyal. Her smile could light up the whole city....and she made the best macaroni salad on earth. My favorite thing is that no matter how long between visits, I could always find my favorite childhood Strawberry Shortcake cup in her cabinet, right where I had left it last. She always made everyone feel welcome and at home because she was home. Aunt Edie, heaven is lucky to get you and earth is just slightly dimmer today without you. RIP to a beloved wife, sister, mother, aunt, and friend. Because I knew you, I have been changed for good.

She was such a good grandma to little Danny.  I recall her visiting me when my son (a baby at the time) was a patient in St. Johns...she had a big smile and reassuring words. So sorry for your loss. xo

I was sad to hear about Mrs. Coughlin's passing. I have very fond memories of her from when we were kids. My prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

Edie was a lovely person, who is now at peace.  I hope you can find comfort and peace in your faith and in the kindness of family and friends

Edie was a wonderful friend to me - always caring and upbeat.  She was one of the special people who helped me so much when I was a young widow.  Wonderful to me and my children.  We all remember her as so warm. She left a legacy of love with all who knew her ...

Mrs. C. was the mother of the neighborhood to us all. She only saw the best in someone. Her loving and caring nature can be seen in every one of her children. This is a void that cannot be filled.

A beautiful person! Inside and Out! We miss you already and we love you forever! Thanks for being so special and kind and caring to everyone always! Your happy face will never be forgotten and warms our hearts always! We know we have another angel looking out for us all! We love you!
