Evangelina always had a caregiving sprit; in her brief career she was a nurses aide, and worked at P.S. 25 as a teacher’s aide to kindergarten students; but her focus was primarily on her family. She was a talented artist in multiple disciplines, from pencil, to poetry, to dioramas. Her personality shined - anyone who knew her knew of her love for sparkles, shoes, fashion- anything glamorous. Her final wish was that anyone who remembers her will do so in celebration.
Evangelina is survived by her daughter, Annalisa, and her sister, Providencia.
A service is scheduled for Wednesday, October 29th, 2025 at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home in Yonkers, NY at 12pm. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, flowers are welcome; contributions may be sent to Annalisa Rivera-Franz.
