Sollecito, Gemma (nee Giannandrea), 93, a longtime Yonkers resident died on Friday February 24, 2012 at her residence. She was born on April 7, 1918 to Attilio and Anna Doria Giannandrea in the Bronx. She was predeceased by her loving husband Peter Sollecito in 1987. She is survived by two daughters, Roseanne Sollecito and Michele Peluso, two brothers, George and Thomas Giannandrea and one sister, Loretta Caputo. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Visitation will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Christ the King Church on Tuesday February 28th at 10 AM. Interment will follow at St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx, N.Y.
