

Helen was born on February 7, 1929, in New Jersey to Mary and John Filichko. Soon after they moved to Yonkers, NY. At the time of her death, she was residing in Dunnellon FL. Helen found joy in playing Bingo and bowling with her friends. She was the happiest surrounded by those she loved, her children, grandchildren, and her great grand - children. Helen went by many name’s mom, friend, Mrs. Parish but the one she was most proud of was Nanny! She was a dedicated Catholic, and her love for Jesus Christ was the foundation of her life. Helen dedicated her career to serving Westchester County in several capacities where she worked for 25 years before retiring and becoming a snow bird between Florida and Pennsylvania. Helen was preceded in death by her beloved husband Alfred, cherished son Richard and adored grandson Stephen Parish. She is survived by her sons Robert (Lorraine), David (Maureen) and daughter Debra (Vincent) Pezzullo, as well as 10 Grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren who she loved dearly. Helen was the heart and soul of the family, a true matriarch who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her legacy will live on through the lives and hearts she touched.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday June 2, 2025 from 3:00-7:00 pm at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home, 168 Park Ave, Yonkers NY 10703 and Mass will be held on Tuesday June 3, 2025 at Christ the King Church, 740 North Broadway, Yonkers NY 10701 at 11:00am.
