Hilda R. Williams 95 of Yonkers, New York passed away November 14, 2010. She was born February 24, 1915 in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She was predeceased by Charles, her loving husband of sixty five years. One of her many joys was watching the soap opera All My Children, which she followed for forty years. She said you could miss it for weeks and still know what was going on when she viewed it again because the plot moved so slowly and then she would say oh that Erica getting married again. But her greatest love was talking about the lives of her three sons, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren, whether they were beginning to walk and talk, traveling on vacation, playing baseball or going away to school. She would always say - do it while you are young, you may not get the chance again. Hilda touched the lives of all who knew her with her caring ways, her quiet strength and her witty sayings. She truly will be missed. Hilda is survived by her three sons, Douglas Williams and his deceased wife Victoria (nee York) of Cape Coral, Florida, Charles Williams, III and his wife Beverly (nee Heinz) of Carmel, New York and Robert V. Williams and his wife Michelle (nee Romano) of Yonkers, also survived by nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Wednesday, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church on Thursday, November 18th at 9:30 a.m. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery.
