

He was raised by Howard and Elizabeth in Yonkers and had 5 brothers and 2 sisters. He attended Sacred Heart Grammar School, high school at Mount St. Michael Academy, and Indiana Tech College for 2 years. He served in the army during the Korean War. Howard was hard working and always provided for his family. He was an electrician for over 35 years with Local 3. His career included being the Head Electrician and Superintendent of Maintenance responsible for the Rockefeller Christmas Tree and he worked as a foreman at the World Financial Center. Howard was a family man who had 2 children, Mary and Peter. Peter died in January 2015 from 911 related causes. He has 6 grandchildren, Rachel, Kathryn, Jamie, James, Molly, and Jack that are his pride and joy. He had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed traveling the world with his wife. He was an avid boater and loved nothing more than spending time out on the water. His hobby was renovating homes and he enjoyed spending time puttering around his house. Howard and Heather retired to Fort Myers Beach Florida where they enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Queen of Peace Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery on Saturday November 16th at 10am with entombment to follow.
