Ida Migliore

January 8, 2025, at the age of 90. She was the loving wife of Nunzio

Migliore for 63 years.

Born in Yonkers, NY on May 16, 1934, Ida was the daughter of

Francesco (Frank) and Esterina (Marini) Valenti. A lifelong resident of

Yonkers, Ida was a graduate of Berkeley Business School, NYC in 1952

and worked for Iona University as an Executive Assistant before

retiring.

She is survived by her children Lisa (and Pasquale) Falcigno, Linda

(and Jeffrey) Molloy; grandchildren Christina (and Daniel) Borgulya,

Andrea Falcigno; and great-granddaughter Kira Borgulya.

Ida found joy throughout her life in her love of sharing meals and

conversation with family and friends, volunteer work at the

Monastery Church of the Sacred Heart, knitting caps for newborns at

St. John’s Hospital, wearing fancy hats, Tuesday-night cards with “the

ladies,” and Saturday trips to the Caryl Beauty Salon.

A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at

Whalen & Ball Funeral Home, with visitation from 2:00 pm to 6:00

pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Monastery Church of the Sacred Heart

in Yonkers, NY on Monday, January 13, 2025 at 11:15 am, followed by

burial at Mount Hope Cemetery in Hastings, NY.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to St. Jude

Children’s Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org/).

Ida will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
