James (Jimmy) Elders was born to Eleanor and George Elders Sr. In Bronx, N.Y. on April 26, 1946. James graduated Dewitt Clinton H.S. 1964 in Bronx, N.Y.. In Nov. 1972 he married Laura Castricone and together raised two sons; Keith and Christopher. James is also survived by brother George Elders Jr. and grandaughters Laura and Daniela Elders
James was a Bus Operator and Safety Instructor for MABSTOA and retired with 34yrs of service. He attended Jersey College and Bronx Community College to attain a teaching degree for Driver's Education and 19-A inspector. After retirement he became a Driving Instructor for PAS Auto School for umpteen years.
James is preceded in death by Laura Elders, George Elders Sr., Eleanaor Elders, Jacklyn Elders.
