Joseph A. Correia

Joseph A. Correia, 77, died peacefully at home in Palm Coast Fl. on July 2, 2012 after spending a beautiful weekend with his immediate family. Joseph was born in Mt. Kisoc on September 4, 1934. He married Joyce Silva on May 9, 1959 at the Monastery Church of Sacred Heart in Yonkers. Joyce predeceased him in 1983. Joseph was formerly Vice President of sales for ITT Corp in Palm Coast FL. he also worked in sales for Gestetner Co. as well as Saw Mill Iron Works in Yonkers. Prior to moving to Yonkers he was the proprietor of Gas and Auto Body Shop in Newark N.J. He resided in Palm Coast FL., Yonkers N.Y., and Newark N.J. where he atended school. Joseph is survived by son, Joseph of N.Y., daughters, Christine Correia of PA, Janet Stafford of FL., brothers, Justino (Jack) of NJ, David of NJ, sister, Mary Cardosa of NJ, grandchildren, Noelle Nacov, Zachery Stafford, Joseph Correia, Patrick Stafford, Emily Stafford and Brian Correia. Visitation will be on Thursday July 12th. from 6:30pm to 9pm. Commital service will be on Friday July 13th. at 11:30am at Ferncliff Cemetery.
