It is with great sadness that the family of Julian Flores Sanchez announces his passing on Monday, March 30, 2020 due to congestive heart failure; at the age of 99 years.
Julian will be lovingly remembered by his wife Haydee Flores of 72 years and his children, Zenelia Herrera, Joe Flores, Maria Canton, Haydee Meling and Donna Ortiz-Julian will also be remembered by his fifteen grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandkids. Julian was predeceased by his brothers Ramon, Fausto, Francisco, Roberto, Martin, Victoria, y Estebana and survived by his brother Andres and sister Josefina.
Julian, a native of Nicaragua, came to the United States in 1961. He and his wife raised their five children in Yonkers, NY. He worked in construction since his arrival to the United States and retired at 65. He was well liked and respected by everyone that knew him.
Funeral Services will be postponed due to the COVID-19 crisis. A celebration of Julian's life will be held, hopefully, in the near future. An announcement will go out to family and friends.
