Kenneth F. Moore

Kenneth F. Moore, 91, died on February 5, 2015. He was a life long resident of the City of Yonkers. He graduated from Commerce High School. He served his country proudly in the Army during WWII. He married Catherine Grady on May 8, 1954 at St Joseph's Church Yonkers. Ken worked for 30 years for the City of Yonkers as a Police Electrician, retiring in 1985. He was loved by all and always had a smile. He is survived by a daughter, Eileen, a son Kenneth, two grandchildren, Kimberly and Joseph, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, his parents Kenneth L Moore and Irene Radigan, and sister, Irene Kiernan. The family would like to thank the staff at San Souci Nursing Home for their dedication and all the care given to Ken while he was a resident. A celebration of his life will be held at Whalen and Ball Funeral Home located at 168 Park Avenue, Yonkers, NY from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm on Tuesday, February 10th, 2015. A funeral mass will be held at St Bartholomew Church located at 15 Palmer Road, Yonkers, NY on Wednesday February 11th, 2015 at 10am. In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation in Ken's memory to San Souci Nursing Home Recreation Department, 115 Park Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10701.
