Burke,Margaret,Mary (nee Whelan) of Yonkers, on Monday, April 20th, 2026. Beloved wife of the late John J. Burke, the love of her life. Devoted mother of Paul J. Burke, Catherine Burke Curio and Patricia Comiskey . Mother-in-law of Linsdey Burke and Raymond Curio. Predeceased by her two brothers and sister, John, David and Catherine and her grand-son Casey Burke. Also Survived by her grandchildren, Molly,Shannon and Kaitlyn and her nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews, many friends. Margaret, "Peggy" had life long friendships, speaking with her friend of 75 years daily, she had yet to meet a person that didn't become her friend . She was a devout Catholic and member of Christ The King parish for many years where she was a member of the Altar Society. She enjoyed going to the Amackassin club with her family and especially her grandchildren. She was a gracious, kind and loving person who will forever remain in our hearts.
