Survived by loving, supportive husband, Peter Staruch and their pride and joy, the love

of their lives, Victoria “Tori” Staruch, Mrs. Pat Solitto, loving Aunt of Liverpool, NY,

devoted sister in law, AnnMarie McKinnon, Goddaughter Kate Alvarado of Arlington,

Texas and Godson, Nico Giachetti of Liverpool, NY. God blessed Margaret with Jessica

Troy of Yonkers, NY, Kimberly and Matthew Supliski of Carmel, NY and many cousins,

nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by parents, brother John McKinnon, grandparents Woodrow and Jane

Cromp, Sam Solitto (Uncle of Liverpool, NY), cousin Mary Kasouf and best friend

Carmela Calvi.

Parishioner of the Monastery Church of Sacred Heart in Yonkers. Graduate of Sacred

Heart Grade School and Sacred Heart High School. One time member of the Parish

Council.

Proud and Honored member of the Yonkers Police Department Family. One time

member of the Yonkers Police Athletic League Board of Directors, Yonkers PAL Poster

One time board member of the North Yonkers Boys and Girls Club.

A member of Shattemuc Yacht Club in Ossining, NY.

Proud to walk as an Aide to the Grand Marshall, Roy McLaughlin, in the annual Yonkers

St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Margaret loved happy times with the 4 Blondes doing Karaoke at Tara. She loved dining

with the Golden Girls.

Devoted fan of Star Wars, Harry Potter and the Avengers.

Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Monday 3-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church on Tuesday June 27th at 10am. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
