Mary "Marie" A. Lang

She was born on June 2, 1926 to Nora (Massey) and James P. Head. Marie was a proud graduate of St. Joseph’s Grade School and Sacred Heart High School.

On March 28, 1948, she married John M. Lang in St. Joseph’s Church in Yonkers. He predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her parents and twin brother, James P. Head Jr.

Marie was a switchboard operator working for such companies as New York Telephone, General Foods, and Elizabeth Seton College.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary-Jane (Mike) Rollins, Carol Lang, and Jackie (Ron) Ratigan, her grandchildren, Kelly (Charlie) Ratigan, Katie Ratigan, Michael, Kristina and Nora Rollins, and great-grandchildren, Andrew and Emmett.

Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Thursday 4-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church on Friday July 28th at 9:30am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
