Roberto Jimenez

Roberto is survived by his two children Jonathan Jimenez and Berenice Rivas and his life partner Maria L Ramirez. Roberto had two wonderful grandchildren Benjamin and Briana. He was a loving brother of three, Martha, Marcelo and Octaviano.

Roberto devoted his life to his family and his Mexican roots, being involved in various organizations and volunteer groups was very important to him in the goal of helping and advocating for his homeland Guadalupe Gavillera, Oaxaca, Mexico. He would arrange donations amongst community members in the U.S and back home, he would also organize, sponsor, and aid in celebrations for special occasions such as mother’s day and children's day. Roberto and friends would set up dinners and gatherings with the aim to motivate, cherish, and stimulate his community back home.

Roberto was a friend of the people, he was known as a jokester, a happy man, and a trusting person. He would always offer help and will come to the aid of anyone and ask for nothing in return.

Even though he left us in life he will always stay within our hearts, leaving behind a great legacy and amazing memories of all the adventures we spent with him.

A celebration of life for Roberto will be held at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Final disposition is private.

Roberto Jiménez de Yonkers N.Y. Falleció pacíficamente el 20 de julio de 2024 a la edad de 57 años rodeado de su familia.

A Roberto le sobreviven sus dos hijos Jonathan Jiménez y Berenice Rivas y su compañera de vida María L Ramírez. Roberto tuvo dos nietos maravillosos, Benjamín y Briana. Era un cariñoso hermano de tres; Marta, Marcelo y Octaviano.

Roberto dedicó su vida a su familia y sus raíces mexicanas, estar involucrado en diversas organizaciones y grupos de voluntariado fue muy importante para él con el objetivo de ayudar y defender a su tierra natal Guadalupe Gavillera, Oaxaca, México. Organizaría donaciones entre los miembros de la comunidad en los EE. UU. y en México, también organizaría, patrocinaría y ayudaría en celebraciones para ocasiones especiales como el día de la madre y el día del niño. Roberto y sus amigos organizaban cenas y reuniones con el objetivo de motivar, valorar y estimular a su comunidad en casa.

Roberto era amigo del pueblo, tenía fama de bromista, de hombre alegre y de confianza. Siempre ofreció ayuda, acudía en ayuda de cualquiera y no pedía nada a cambio.

Aunque nos dejó en vida, siempre permanecerá en nuestros corazones, dejando un gran legado y recuerdos increíbles de todas las aventuras que pasamos con él.
