

Born on August 25, 1953, to Lino and Lucia DiGiannantonio Rampa in Yonkers, New York, Rose was a lifelong resident of the city where she was raised and educated. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School, earned a Bachelor's degree from Adelphi University, and a Master's degree from Albany University.
Rose dedicated over 34 years to teaching mathematics at Saratoga Junior High School, Nyack High School, and lastly at Sacred Heart High School. Her career was marked by her inspirational and kind-hearted nature, which left a lasting impact on her students and colleagues.
A devoted parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Yonkers, Rose served as a lector, demonstrating her commitment to her faith and community. Her generous and thoughtful spirit was also evident in her charitable contributions to organizations such as St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Wounded Warriors Project.
Rose is survived by her loving aunt, Dora Ryan, who, along with many others, will remember her for her generosity and the thoughtful legacy she leaves behind. She is also survived by another aunt, Silvana Liberati and her family.
Visiting hours will be held at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home, 168 Park Ave., Yonkers, N.Y. on Wednesday November 12th from 4-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, 110 Shonnard Place, Yonkers, N.Y. 10703 on Thursday November 13th at 11am. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
