Salvatore J. Guadagno

Salvatore J. Guadagno of Yonkers died on Tuesday February 22, 2011 at age 87. He was born on December 27, 1923 to Salvatore and Josephine (Fareri) in Yonkers where he was raised and educated. Mr. Guadagno was a Route Salesman for Dellwood Dairy for over 30 years, retiring in 1986. He was a parishioner of St. Bartholomew's Church and a WWII Veteran, a member of the Senior Citizen Group #6 and the Scarsdale Elks, and the Yonkers Corthian Yacht Club. On Octomer 2, 1948 he married Antionette D. Leonardo in Yonkers, she survives. He is also survived by his 3 children Salvatore (Betty) III of Somers, Anne (Joseph Crotty) Travaglini of Yonkers and Josephine (Joseph Donotone) Pestone of Chappaqua; his sister Antionette Iannuzzi, 6 grandchildren Siobhn, Katrina, Salvatore IV, Cara Ann, Alexandra and Peter James, and 5 great grandchildren Aine, Emma, Garrett, Gianna and Lucas. Visiting hours will be in the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be in St. Bartholomew's Church on Saturday February 26th at 10am.
