

Stephen Kischak, Jr., a resident of Carmel, N.Y. formerly of Yonkers, died on Friday June 5, 2015 at the Grand Nursing Home in Pawling. He was 52 years old. He was born on June 23, 1962 to Stephen and Constance Freund Kischak in Yonkers where he was raised and educated, graduating from Sacred Heart High School. Mr. Kischak was an automotive technician in auto repairs and sales for several companies throughout Westchester County until he became disabled in 2010. He was a former parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Yonkers and more recently a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church in Somers. He was passionate about cars for many years prior to his illness. On May 27, 1995, he married Eva Mavra in Holy Rosary Church in Hawthorne. Mrs. Kischak survives and lives in Carmel. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother, Peter Kischak and his wife Pattyann of Yonkers and a sister, Patricia Lasorsa and her husband Pasquale of Amenia, N.Y. He is also survived by a niece, Kelly Kischak and several other nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Monday 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church on Tuesday June 9th at 9:30am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
