William T. Lockhart

William T. Lockhart died on Saturday August 4, 2012 at age 66. William was born on March 7, 1946 in Laurinburg, North Carolina to William and Juanita (Reid) Lockhart. He graduated from Roosevelt High School and married Alice Davis on April 10, 1964. She survives living in Yonkers. William was the Assistant Director of Security at St. John's Riverside Hospital. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and was an avid shooter. He enjoyed music and recording movies and music for friends and relatives. William spoke Portuguese, Slovak, Spanish, Italian and Brazilian. William was very involved with Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. He did work with the Special Olympics and loved to help people. Besides his wife Alice he is survived by his 2 children Colleen Marie Lockhart and Marcus Anson Lockhart, 3 grandchildren Dontay Young, Lauren Young and Reginald Leonard, his brother John Charles Lockhart and 2 sisters Frances Regina King and Johnnie Mae Melton and numerous nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will be on Thursday at 10am in The Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
