Judy A Snyder

Hanover - Judy Ann Snyder, 68, of Hanover, passed peacefully on Monday, October 29, 2018 at UPMC Pinnacle, Hanover. She was the loving wife, for 49 years, of Nevin E. Snyder who passed away March 16, 2018.

Born August 27, 1950 she was the daughter of the late Richard E. and Lettie (Bowman) Becker.

Judy was a member of First United Methodist Church, Hanover. She was employed as a cook for the Spring Grove School District for 30 years retiring in 2015. Judy enjoyed doing crafts and loved to crochet. She also liked watching crime shows on T.V. and going to the movies with her sisters.

Judy is survived by her sons, Brad A. Snyder and his wife Christina of Johnstown, PA and Vance A. Snyder and his wife Fraya of Hanover; her grandson, Aidan Miliate and her siblings, Helen Neal of Spring Grove, Pat Martin of Hanover, Gloria Brown of Hanover and John Becker of Spring Grove. Judy is also survived by her baby kitty, Midnight and her grand-dogs, Grier, Groot, Gamora and Spanner.

In addition to her husband and parents, Judy was preceded in death by her brother Dick Becker.

A service to celebrate the life of Judy Snyder will be held at 11:00am on Friday, November 2, 2018 at the Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover, PA 17331 with Rev. Gregory A. Rapp officiating. A time to share memories with the family and an opportunity to view will be on Thursday evening from 6 to 8pm and again on Friday from 10am until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at 1:00pm Friday at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, York, PA. Pallbearers will be Brad Snyder, Vance Snyder, Jeremy Welsh, Ivan Wentz, Tim Legore and Ted Legore.

Following the graveside service, a reception, with light refreshments, will be held for family and friends at 3:00pm at First United Methodist Church at the address below.
