Alice C. Staats passed away peacefully in Phoenix, AZ on December 22, 2013. Alice was born December 29, 1918 to Ova (Hayne) and Charles Clayton. She was predeceased by her parents, 3 siblings, husband, daughter, and granddaughter. Alice was an Administrative Assistant at The National Institutes of Health for many years, and assumed a leadership role at Lakeview United Methodist Church in Sun City after moving to Arizona. She is a beloved mother, grandmother and friend. Alice is survived by her adored daughter, Wynn Lawry of Sun City, AZ, two grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
