Anastacia Maria Villafan, also known as "Tachi" by her family and close friends. As an adult her preference was her middle name Maria, her grandmother's namesake. She passed away on April 7, 2026 at the age of 45.
Born in Phoenix, Arizona to Mary Susanna "Suzie" and Genaro "Geno" Villafan. Tachi was a great presence with a rough and tough exterior but a soft and kind soul. She grew up loving animals and always had a pet at her side. Her dog, Baby, was at her side when she crossed that bridge to be with her father, mother, and brother Pancho.
She is survived by her son Nicholas Lorenzo Villa and daughter Precious Ruby Villafan. She loved her children with all her heart. Taking Nicholas to the Arizona State Fair on his birthday every year was always a highlight for them all. Precious is the girl she always wanted and enjoyed every moment with her.
