

He was born in Manhattan, New York and lived in the Phoenix Arizona area most of his adult life.
Jim had a profound love for God, family, and music. He was a loving husband, father to 5, grandfather to 7, great grandfather to 2, a friend to many, a talented musician, singer, song writer, and instructor. He had opportunities to play with known musical artist, but his desire of being a family man superseded a life on the road.
He loved performing and it brought him great pleasure. He truly enjoyed instructing the younger generations who shared his passion and love of music. He had an unwavering love for his faith, his beloved savior Jesus Christ, and for his wonderful family. He was musically inclined, played the guitar, drums, and bass. He was in a band now, and then throughout his adult life. He wrote some of his own music, he was fortunate enough to meet and play with many other talented artist over the years.
Anyone who knew Jim was touched by his kindness, humor, and mild temperament. He was truly a peacemaker.
Jim was survived by his loving wife of 54 years Ingeborg Bluehs McIntosh, Daughter Melody McIntosh Henderson and Husband Scott Henderson, Daughter Mindy McIntosh Rowell and Husband Billy Rowell, Son Timothy James McIntosh, Son Jordan Scott McIntosh and Daughter Amanda Joy McIntosh
Grandkids:
Alisha, Kyle, Nicole, Bailey, Ciara, Blake, Tatum and Nathaniel
Great Grandkids:
Bryson and Braylee
Jim was known to those closest to him as Jim, Dad, Daddy, Papa, or Pops.
His life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were blessed to be touched by him, understand that his existence, and the imprint he left on our hearts, exceed the quantity of time that he stayed here.
The family would like to share their gratitude and thanks for the loving support, flowers, cards, kind thoughts and continued prayers.
