Janet Jean Lagge

Janet passed away peacefully on June 4th 2016 in Peoria, AZ with her daughter Lois at her side. She is now with the love of her life Walt Lagge. They met in San Luis Obispo and were married in 1961 in Reno NV on their way to Billings, MT. She was the 2nd twin born on July 26, 1933 in Mountainair, NM to Clifton and Flora Scoggins. The family moved to El Paso Texas in 1937. The twins took Violin lessons for 8 years and she played violin with the Fox Theater Orchestra. She worked at Walt’s second hand store and was the Shop Manager for the Wise Penny Clothing Store. She loved to write and had beautiful hand writing. When Walt semi-retired they enjoyed making puzzles, playing cards, watching Elvis movies and traveling. She was preceded in death by her twin Joyce Scoggins, sons Rex and Rodney Plum. She is survived by Sister Gwen Russell of Tularosa, NM, daughters Lois Lagge of Peoria, AZ, Cheryl Golson of Montgomery, AL, 6 grandchildren, Sister-in-laws June and Karen Lagge, 8 nieces and 9 nephews. She will be dearly missed by her daughter Lois. Memorial Service to be held at a later date.
