Patricia Veronica Tomasik

Dear Family and Friends,

It is with great love and remembrance that we share the passing of our beloved Patricia Veronica Tomasik (Calkins).

April 9, 1952 – March 18, 2026

Patricia Veronica Tomasik, 73, of Surprise, Arizona, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026. Born on April 9, 1952, in Flint, Michigan, Patricia lived a life filled with love, devotion, and compassion.

After dedicating many years to her career as a bus driver, Patricia retired and moved to Arizona in August 2012, embracing the sunshine and serenity of the desert. While living in Arizona Patricia got a job driving for Cancer Treatment of America. She treasured time spent with her family and found her greatest joy in her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her love for her children and grandchildren was boundless, and her caring spirit touched everyone, fortunate enough to know her.

Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Ray Calkins; her mother, Theresa Calkins ( Zaneski); and her brother, Raymond Calkins.

She is survived by her beloved daughters Christal Blake, Misty Tillman, and Theresa Tomasik; her grandchildren Anthony Tomasik, Damen Tomasik, River Tomasik, Korrey Tomasik, and Kyia Hogan; her granddaughters-in-law Eliana Tomasik and Kristi Tomasik; and her cherished great-grandchildren Aiden Green, Aubreeana Tomasik, Amelia Tomasik, Kennedi David, Veronica Tomasik, and River Dillon Lee Tomasik She also leaves behind her beloved sisters Phyllis Calkins and Barbara Ankney, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Patricia’s memory will live on through the love she shared, the strength she embodied, and the family she so deeply cherished. She will be forever remembered and profoundly missed.
