Today was all about you. You were so loved and cared for. I will miss you so much you being annoying talking stuff or sending me love.

I met Skylar when we were freshman in high school. I had just moved to surprise, and had absolutely no friends other than my cousin. Skylar and I had a few classes together. One day, we got assigned to sit by each other and were friends ever since. Skylar was like a big brother to me in high school. He looked out for me in so many ways and always gave the best advice. He's the reason I even started listening to rap. No matter what was going on in his life, he always had a smile on his face and always made me laugh my ass off.  I remember being in the car with him when he told my boyfriend, our friend and I he was going to be a father and how incredibly excited he was. I loved seeing him light up and how proud he was. Even when times got tough, we always tried to stay in touch. When I graduated nursing school, he reached out to me telling me how proud he was of me and how he always knew I would, in his words, "achieve greatness fr fr".  Last year, we got to talk on the phone about all of the memories we had of each other and how both of our lives were going.  I'm so grateful we were able to have those last conversations, I wish we could have more. I will miss you forever. Rest in peace my friend❤️❤️

When I first met Skyler he was a teen that I met at a bus stop on 107th &; Indian school. After talking to him for a little bit I could sense that he was tired and weary so I invited him to my home and gave him some food and offered for him to chill for a bit to get out of the son...little did I know that would be the start of a friendship between him and my family for years to come.  I will always remember him for how fresh he was no matter how many days he was up or how bad he was doing , Sky always managed to look Fresh as Fuck and I've never seen him with any clothes that were hand me downs or previously used clothing! He was the true example of handsome and Fresh to death no matter what. And when he started to get more involved with my family he started to become one of us and out of everybody who abandoned my family when we were going through or toughest times as a.family he took it upon himself to go through it with us and I will always respect him for that. And I always thought he was soft because he would take so much shit from everybody and my family , and he'd take it and continue, now as.im older and wiser I see he was just being respectful and biting his tongue...he wasn't soft he was just wise in how and when he picked his battles. And then when he grew some balls and asked me of he could date my sister I thought he was crazy and I told him right off the rip, that he better know what that means as for me and his relationship and told him if he ever hurt my sister or put a finger on her then for him to expect what would come from me, and he looked.me.in my eyes and told me that he would never do that and I was like.his older brother to him which is a memory I Will never forget.And till the day he was called to heaven he kept that promise to me. So I would never look at him as soft ever again in my life cuz he taught me a valuable lesson in my own anger and ways that I handled problems that arose in life. I'm going to miss you little brother R.I.P

Skylar was my very first boyfriend and my first kiss when we were 11-12 years old. It was very innocent and cute and probably only lasted a week or 2, but we remained friends for years. He was a part of my childhood, everyone who was in that group back in Marley park back in 6, 7th and 8th grade knew that it was just a fun time. I used to go to bumble bee park almost every day to visit him and his sister and their neighbors and we would play outside. How young and innocent we were. We both also lost our fathers at very young ages so we could always relate to that when nobody else understood, we would be sad that we never got to know them, and my heart breaks that your baby boy might feel the same. As the years went on life separated us but I always kept him in my thoughts and hoped for the best for him, and Destany. I’m so sorry sky. May you rest in peace.

I’m still struggling to find the right words, because there really aren’t any that can fully express feelings like this.
You weren’t just a friend—you were part of my foundation, part of my childhood, part of the memories that shaped me. From the laughter we shared to the missions we would take just to hang out with our friends. 
Thank you for the joy, the loyalty, and the unconditional love you gave so freely. I’ll carry your memory with me always, in the quiet moments, in the places we used to go, and in the stories I’ll tell so you’re never forgotten.
Rest easy, my friend. You’ll always be in my heart.

Friends and family of Skylar,I was really close to Sky.Ive spent many hours talking and listening to Sky.Weve cried,laughed, and shared many of our thoughts good and bad with each other. He was without a doubt one of the most non judgemental people I've ever met.I use to laugh  when I would catch him in the mirror dancing and lip singing,he had no idea I was watching him.My heartfelt condolences go out to all who knew him and loved him.I know he's in heaven right now no more struggles,no more pain.
REST IN PEACE SKYLAR YOULL FOREVER BE MISSED AND UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN

I meant Skyler at work and we became Fast Friends he sent me this picture of him and Jacob and it melted my my heart and from that day captured my heart and I tried effortlessly to be there but I understand and I'm forever grateful I have spent that time with him I'll miss you and love you forever Sky rest easy...

You will be missed so much by so many. RIP with your dad and Grandpa who loved you so much.   May your demons be gone now. I love you!!
