

Daniel Allen Mac Lachlan, 75, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at his home in Yucaipa, California. He was born April 14, 1939 in San Diego, California to Frank & Rosie Mac Lachlan. After graduating High School in Merced, California, Daniel, joined the United States Army from 1962 -1965 and he was selected to be Colonel’s private chauffer and a light & heavy duty (up to 5 tons) truck driver specialist, spc4 E4. Daniel resided in Indio, Palm Desert and Colton California over a period of 34 years and he had lived in Yucaipa, CA for the past 12 years. He worked at Indio Pipe & Supply, owned a Garden and Landscaping business, painted homes and businesses.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Juanita Mac Lachlan of Yucaipa; daughter, Deanna M. Mac Lachlan of Yucaipa; brothers, Frank A. Mac Lachlan of Apple Valley, Jerome Leland Mac Lachlan of Merced, Johnny Louis Mac Lachlan of Yucaipa and James Ronald Mac Lachlan of Indio; sisters, Betty Jean Mac Lachlan Hawkins of Yucaipa and Sandra Lorraine Mac Lachlan Holly of Temecula; brother-in-law and caregiver, John James Hart, Jr.
Daniel is predeceased by his parents, Frank Layfield & Rosie Delci Mac Lachlan; son, Daniel Mac Lachlan; sister at infancy, Andrea Virginia; sister, Carol Suzanne; grandparents, Ismael & Andrea Quiroz, grandparents, Katheryn Mac Lachlan and Frank Madrid.
A visitation is scheduled for Sunday, December 7, 2014 from 4-8pm, with Rosary at 7pm at the Weaver-Hughes Mortuary, 33629 Yucaipa Blvd., Yucaipa, CA 92399. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, December 8, 2014 at 11:00 am at the St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church, 12687 California Street, Yucaipa, CA 92399. Interment will follow at the Riverside National Cemetery at 1:30 pm, Staging Area #3.
