Margaret Lucille Sorensen, 88, a resident of Rialto for 59 years, passed away on September 21, 2011 in Redlands, CA. She was born Margaret Lucille Wigton on September 1, 1923 in Los Angeles, CA. She worked 15 years as a data processer for Security Pacific Bank. She and her husband were longtime members of the DAV. She was predeceased by her husband, Hjalmer, son William Lee, brother Edward, and sister Katherine. Margaret is survived by her sons, Edwin of Mentone, Paul of Utah, Jeffrey of Indiana; daughters Kathleen Nece of Kansas and Peggy Pippin of Highland, 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. Visitation is from 9:00 – 10:00 AM Friday, September 30, 2011 with funeral service to follow at 10:00 AM at Weaver-Hughes Mortuary 33629 Yucaipa Blvd., Yucaipa. Private interment at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside.
