Richard Thomas Dawson was born on July 15, 1947 and passed away on August 8, 2022. He was raised in Fort Lee, NJ. He was the eldest brother of Clifford Dawson of Calimesa, Ca, Joan Riggs of Redlands, Ca, and Janel Laban of Malmo, Sweden. Richard proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He then started a career at IBM, which took him to Poughkeepsie, NY, New Orleans, LA, and Denver, Co where he nurtured his passion for the Denver Broncos. It was in Denver that he met and married his wife Virginia who proceeded him in death, and to whom he has now returned. Richard will always be loved and remembered by their daughter Kirsta of Redlands. Richard passed away at his home in Yucaipa, Ca. He will be interred at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Co with military honors.
