Aracely Gonzalez O'Malley

Aracely Gonzalez-O'Malley, 31, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2010 in Homburg, Germany. She was born February 19, 1979 in Brawley, California.

Aracely served with the U.S. Army as a Communications Staff Sergeant for 8 years. She had served in deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Africa. She enjoyed music, photography, scrapbooking, dancing and San Diego Chargers Football.

Aracely is survived by her husband, Ryan P. O'Malley; children, Sidney, Riley and Sean; parents, Armando and Juanita Gonzalez; brothers, Santiago and Armando Gonzalez; and sisters, Lizbeth and Paulette Gonzalez.

An all night Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 beginning at 4:00 p.m. Rosary will start at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.

Services for Aracely Gonzalez-O'Malley, 31, of Yuma, will be 10 a.m. today at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Desert Lawn.

Gonzalez-O'Malley died Oct. 21, 2010, in Homburg, Germany.

She was born Feb. 19, 1979, in Brawley and was a communication specialist for the U.S. Army.

Johnson Mortuary is handling arrangements.
