

Arnold was born on September 3, 1936 in El Centro, California, to Jesus and Josephine Arguilez. He later raised his family in Yuma, Arizona, where he built a life rooted in hard work, love, and dedication. Arnold proudly served in the National Guard and spent his career working at National Cash Register (NCR) where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment.
He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Elisa Arguilez. Arnold leaves behind his children: Arnold Arguilez Jr. (Yolanda), Maria Yvon Arguilez, Gabriela Sherman (Kenneth), Monica Garza (Leo), and his son Robert Arguilez, who preceded him in death.
He was a proud grandfather to Ryan Holland (Nansi), Kylie Thomas (Zachary), and Jarret Holland, who preceded him in death. Arnold was also blessed with great-grandchildren Alesana, Aiden, Theo, Levi, and Talia, who brought him great joy.
Arnold will be remembered as a hardworking man who loved traveling and spending time working on the ranch. His dedication to his family and the life he built will be cherished by all who knew him.
A Rosary and Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 AM at Johnson Mortuary on Friday, March 6, 2026. A Celebration of Life will follow at Rococo Banquet Hall, 1335 S. Pacific Ave.
Arnold will be deeply missed and always remembered.
