Mom was a very humble, patient, strong and loving person. Always thinking and concerned about others, she did not hesitate to lend a helping hand. Mom loved living at the family farm in Bard for over 65 years and provided a place for everyone to come "home" to. She taught us to be strong and to be there for each other, giving us many loving memories. She will be deeply missed.
Pallbearers will be Frank Espino, Anthony Espino, Abel Almanza, Tom Martinez, Faron Owl, Santos Renteria and Alfredo Casillas. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation services will be at the Johnson Mortuary Chapel Wednesday, August 24th from 5 to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. Mass will be held 9:00 a.m., Thursday at St. Thomas Indian Mission with burial to follow at Desert Lawn.
Whether it was a grandchild moving away, or a son or daughter heading home from a visit, Mom always said "Vaya con Dios". These words never failed to express her profound love for her family, and as we send her on her journey, each and every one of us feels exactly the same. We love you Mom and "we are going to make it." Vaya con Dios.
