Eleanor G. Lopez passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Yuma Nursing Center in Yuma, Arizona. Born on January 3, 1938 in Yuma where she lived all her life. A homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many who entered eternal rest at the age of 79. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held at Johnson Mortuary Chapel, 1415 S. First Avenue from 5-9 pm on Friday, March 10, 2017 with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00pm. Scripture Service will also be at Johnson Mortuary Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 12:00 pm. A private cremation handled by Johnson Mortuary will take place at a later date.
Left behind to cherish her memory include her children, Nancy Raquel Almodova of Yuma, Arizona, Patricia Herrick of Yuma, Arizona, Sharon M. (Robert) Trujillo of Yuma, Arizona, Melissa (Smoke) Anderson of El Paso, Texas and the twins Joseph Lopez of Yuma, Arizona and Josie Lopez of Somerton, Arizona. Eleanor will be fondly remembered by all her grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
