

Evelia had a teaching degree, but was a homemaker. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family.
Evelia is survived by her 6 children, Francisco Haro, Jose Haro, Alma (Obed) Velasquez, Nohemi Haro, Martha (Fausto) Burruel, Margarita (David) Abalos; two sisters, Josefina and Judith Gonzalez; 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband, Noe Haro; father, Amado Gonzalez; mother, Maria Luisa Gonzalez; brother, Amado Gonzalez; and sister, Rebecca Gonzalez.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 5pm at Johnson Mortuary with rosary beginning at 7pm. Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 10am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Her final resting place will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Francisco Haro, Jose Haro, Carlos Gonzalez, Obed Velasquez, Fausto Burruel, David Abalos Sr. Honorary pallbeaers are Judith Gonzalez, Josefina Gonzalez, and Mario Rosas Haro.
In lieu of flowers donation can be made to Hospice of Yuma.
