Fannie Bell Hubbard

On Tuesday, October 11, 2016, Fannie Bell Hubbard was called home at 6:45 pm. Fannie was born on Wednesday, January 4, 1922 to the late Robert and Margaret Gamble. In 1941, she was joined in holy matrimony to John Hubbard.

Fannie was preceded in death by her parents; Robert and Margaret Gamble, husband, John Hubbard; brother, Verdell Gamble; sister, Bobbie Morrison and Ora Lee Gamble.

Fannie leaves to cherish her precious memories, one daughter, Mary A. Shaw (Jimmie); son, Johnnie Hubbard (Vandora); two sisters, Everlene Stuart of Denton, Texas and Margaret Gamble of Hope, Arkansas; one brother, Burndell Gamble (Johnnie Mae) of Los Angeles, California. Her beloved grandchildren, Terry Shaw, Chris Hubbard, Joel Hubbard and Stacy Hubbard; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Shaw, Alexander Shaw, Chavalier Hubbard, Stephanie, Donte, Jessica, Shayle and Devon, great-great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Hubbard, Ishmael Hubbard and Tobias Hubbard. Fannie will be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Visitation for Fannie will be Friday, October 21, 2016 at Johnson Mortuary Chapel from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 10:00 am at Johnson Mortuary Chapel. The interment will follow in the Garden of Psalms at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Yuma, Arizona. Reverend James Porter will officiate. . Pallbearers include, Terry Shaw, Chris Hubbard, Joel Hubbard, Stacy Hubbard, Cliffton Summer and Larry Zigler. Honorary Pallbearers are Kenneth Mack, Charles Kidd, Clifford Winton and Justice Brown. Repast will immediately follow the interment at the American Legion Post #56, 1490 West 3rd St.

With great appreciation, the family extends their gratitude to all of you gathered here today and also to all of those not able to join us today, as we celebrate a life well lived by Fannie Bell Hubbard. May our sweet Lord bless you all.
