Hubert C. Rose

Hubert C. Rose, 99, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015 in Yuma, AZ. He was born December 14, 1915 in Paris, Arkansas. Hubert was a Citrus Farmer for many years on Yuma Mesa. He created Yuma Wind Machine. Hubert was a member of the Board of Directors for Yuma Mesa Irrigation District and for the Board of Directors for Yuma Mesa Fruit Growers.

Hubert is survived by his wife of 77 years, Hortense Rose; son, Buddy (Donna) Rose; daughters, June (Mike) Aivazian and Julene (Mitchell) Garcia; grandson, Rodger (Marie) Rose; daughter-in-law, Hilda Rose; 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his son, Roger Rose Sr.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2015 with Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 9, 2015 at Johnson Mortuary Chapel, 1415 S. 1st Avenue, Yuma, Arizona. Final resting place will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
