James "J. D." Woodman Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Friend & WWII Veteran Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at home on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 in Yuma, Arizona.
J.D. was born in Southerland, Nebraska on Monday, October 22, 1923. During the depression the family survived as migrant farm laborers in Washington, Oregon and Northern California where they settled in Tulelake, California.
J.D. is survived by his loving wife Barbara of 71 years, daughter Sandy, son James Jr. and wife Susan, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren,
He is preceded in death by his Son Robert Woodman.
Celebration of Fife will be held in Tulelake, California at a later date.
Private cremation arrangements under the direction of Johnson Mortuary & Desert Lawn Memorial Park, Yuma, Arizona.
