Janice I. Spencer, 67, left her family on Thursday, April 19, 2012 in the early morning at YRMC.
Janice graduated from San Pasqual High School then later worked for San Pasqual School for 23 years. She was a member of the Bard Rod and Gun Club; she was a 4H leader and did 4H and FFA with her 2 children. She enjoyed sewing, macramé, cooking and reading. On the weekend Janice loved spending time with friends and family.
Janice is survived by her daughter, Glenna Spencer of Yuma, AZ; son, Kevin Spencer of Bard, CA; granddaughter, Hailee Orta of Yuma; grandsons, Nathan Palacio and RJ Lotshaw both of Yuma.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Irene Richards; husband Phillip Edward Spencer; and mother-in-law, Maxine Spencer.
Memorial Service will be held at Johnson Mortuary on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Her final resting place will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Yuma, Arizona.
