Javier Milo Figueroa

With profound sorrow and aching hearts, we announce the passing of Javier Milo Figueroa, who left this world far too soon at the age of 17. Javier was a radiant soul—full of laughter, curiosity, and kindness—whose presence lit up every room and whose absence leaves an immeasurable void.

Born in 2007, Javier grew into a young man of remarkable depth and compassion. Through his quiet wisdom and fierce loyalty to those he loved, Javier touched lives in ways that will never be forgotten. He had a gift for making people feel seen and heard, and his empathy was as boundless as his imagination.

Javier was a beloved son, brother, friend, and classmate. He was the kind of person who remembered your favorite song, who stayed up late to help you through a hard time, who made you laugh when you didn’t think you could. His dreams were big, his heart even bigger.

He is survived by his loving family, who cherished every moment with him, and by countless friends who will carry his memory forward in stories, in music, and in the quiet moments when they feel his spirit close by.

Though Javier’s time with us was heartbreakingly brief, his impact was lasting. We will remember him not for the years he didn’t get, but for the love he gave, the joy he sparked, and the light he brought into our lives.

A celebration of Javier’s life will be held on Saturday, October 18th, 2025, at Johnson Mortuary located at 1415 S. 1st Ave. Yuma, AZ. Visitation is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with a Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 PM. All who knew and loved him are welcome to gather, share memories, and honor the beautiful legacy he leaves behind.
