Among his many accomplishments he was proud to have served his country in the Marines. He was held in high regard for his work plastering pools in San Diego. He was compassionate, selfless and a man of true grit. He took great pride in caring for those around him. He will be remembered for being a loving husband, incredible father, and dear friend to many.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Wanda Sue Boland; children, Jackie (Gabe) Miller, Kelly Boland, John Boland, Emily (Jeff) Pickel, Daniel (Susie) Boland; grandchildren, Lily, Jeremiah, and Elara, and siblings Barbara, Suzan and Larry.
