John Walter McPartland Jr., 56, of Yuma, Arizona, passed away on August 20, 2015. John was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late John Walter McPartland Sr. and Constance McFadden on June 4, 1959. After graduating from St. James Catholic High School John joined the U.S. Marine Corps and served 20+ years as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician. After retiring from the Marine Corps John continued on with his successful and elite career out at Yuma Proving Grounds where he was a demolitions technician.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years Nora, his daughter Erin and Son-in-Law Brian, his son Ryan, his grandchildren Shanley, McKenzie, Harrison, and Kylee, his mother Constance, his brothers & sisters Mark, Diane, Doreen, Bruce, Steven, Scott, and Julie along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a beloved husband, loving father and grandfather who will forever be in our hearts
His service are private and being held in Yuma AZ.
