Karen C. Bennett, 70, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at her home in Yuma, Arizona. Karen was born on September 21, 1942 in Greenwood, Kansas to Howard Evanson and Elsi Adelene Morse.
Karen was a graduate of Antelope High School in Wellton, AZ and worked at Jack & Rosies Restaurant and AEA Federal Credit Union in Yuma. She was also a member of the Yuma Rotary.
Karen enjoyed gardening, her family, movies, holidays and her dog.
Karen is survived by her son; Darrell (Maria Esperanza) K. Bennett, grandsons; Burton Bennett, Clay Kelland, Alfredo Santa Maria, granddaughter; Hope Kelland as well as other family members.
She was preceded in death by sons; Edward Lee Bennett, Dennie Bennett and daughter; Melissa C. Zaja.
Graveside services will be a Johnson Mortuary on August 2, 2013 at 6:30am. Memorial donations should be made to Hospice of Yuma, Crossroads Mission and Amberly's Place. In lieu of flowers, the public is asked to bring a single rose.
