

Kathleen was born in Salinas, California, and went on to build a life centered around faith, family, and service. She began her career as a tax preparer and consultant before dedicating many years working in long-term care for the State of Arizona, where she served others with compassion and integrity until her retirement.
Kathleen was a woman of deep faith who lived her life guided by her love for Jesus Christ. She was known for her unconditional love, kind heart, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with those she loved most.
She had a passion for traveling, enjoying great food, and celebrating her patriotism. She also found happiness in gardening, preserving food, and listening to music. One of her most cherished traditions was traveling to Washington each summer to visit her daughter Sandy and her grandchildren—time she treasured deeply.
Kathleen is survived by her daughters, Mary Perez, Andrea McGinnis, and Sandy Janson; her beloved grandchildren, Donavan, Desiree, Sean, Ryan, Kyle, and Travis; and her brothers, Bob Denman and Jeff Denman. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and strength that will continue to live on through her family.
She was preceded in death by her son, Sean O’Malley; her sister, Mary Perry; and her parents, Robert and Velma Denman.
A memorial service will be held at the LDS Church, 2895 S. 8th Avenue, Yuma, Arizona, at 10:00 a.m. on April 2, 2026.
Kathleen will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love she gave so freely and the faith she lived so fully.
