Mrs. Leatrice Joy Parsons, 83 passed away In Yuma at Kindred Assisted Living Home on March 18, 2012. An Arizona resident for 61 years, she had worked as a bank teller for First Interstate Bank and the Arizona Bank. She was born in Lazbuddie, Texas and graduated from Lazbuddie High School.
Mrs. Parsons is survived by her husband, Charlie J. Parsons of their Yuma home as well as son, Charles R. Parsons also of Yuma. Surviving grandchildren are Tyler Parsons and Samantha Kizer, and great-grandchildren include Kampbell Kizer and Layne Kizer. Leatrice is also survived by her sister, Billie J. Embry.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Lillian Ann Parsons, brother, James Welch and sister, Janice Cole.
Private cremation services were entrusted to Johnson Mortuary and Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Yuma, Arizona.
