

Lottie Wall, 98, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2014 in Yuma, AZ. She was born April 13, 1915 in Grantsville, UT. Lottie married Lyman Wall on June 4, 1932 and they raised eight children. She enjoyed square dancing in Yuma in 1960's and 1970's. She served on the election board and managed the polls in Winterhaven for many years. She cooked at Dorothy's Country Kitchen, Venitas Cafe, and the Huddle Pancake House. She was a Yuma II Ward primary teacher. She loved to sew, quilt, collect and dress dolls. Lottie was a member of the Winterhaven Elderberries, Red Hats, and Lost Peepers.
Lottie is survived by sons, Elbert (Alice), Lawrence, Gordon (Carol), Vern; daughters, Alice (Kevin) Draper, Linda (Edward) Benedict; 23 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyman; sons, Melvin and Lynn; daughter-in-law, JoAnn; 1 granddaughter; 1 great great great grandson.
Viewing Wednesday, January 22, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Johnson Mortuary, 1415 S. 1st Avenue, Yuma. Dedication of the grave will follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
