She was a wonderful wife and mother who was always there when we needed her most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. A dear friend to many, she was a cherished member of the Yuma community, leaving behind a legacy of strength and kindness. Martha was predeceased by her mother, father, sister, and youngest brother. She leaves behind, her husband, two daughters and two sons, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a brother, along with countless friends who felt her warmth and generosity.
She was born in Heroica Veracruz and as a teenager moved to California. After her marriage to Carlos and starting her family they relocated to Yuma, Arizona.
She devoted her professional and personal life to helping others. She had a profound impact on the Yuma and surrounding communities in social work for the State of Arizona. She was known for her contributions as a DCS Supervisor and was a beacon of light and hope in the community. She loved her job, and helping children was her life’s work. She lived her life richly in service and in kindness.
Martha loved laughing, dancing, traveling, cooking, but most of all gathering family and friends to make long lasting memories that she cherished.
