Nancy Lou Thomas

A longtime resident of Yuma, Nancy worked at Crane Schools and Food City until her retirement in 2015. She was an avid bowler and loved going to the casino to play penny slots.

Nancy is survived by her 6 children, Deb Spencer of Yuma; Bob and (Megan) Spencer of Bremerton, WA; Dan and (Kim) Spencer of Chandler, AZ; Patti Spencer and (Pat Hughes) of Yuma; Frankie and (Doug) Sandall of York, NE and Donald L. Thomas, Jr. of Yuma; 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 9 siblings and numerous nieces and nephews. She embodied the qualities of a loving mother, leaving a profound impact on us all. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all of those who loved her!

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert G. and Gwendolyn Z (Pulda) Strunz and her brothers, Robert (Bob) Strunz and Gerald (Jerry) Strunz.

Visitation will be held at Johnson Mortuary & Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 1415 South 1st Ave, Yuma, AZ 85364, US, on March 16, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.  

A Committal Service will be held at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 1415 South 1st Ave, Yuma, AZ 85364, US, on March 16, 2026, from 10:00 am to 10:30 am.
