

Nathaniel Ka' Chulle Barley, 49, passed away peacefully Friday, October 24, 2014 in San Luis, AZ. He was born December 26, 1964 in Winterhaven, CA. Nathaniel attended O.L. Carlisle Grammar School and proceeded to Phoenix Indian High School. He worked in construction and various odd jobs. Nathaniel loved listening to Northern Style Pow Wow music. He enjoyed reading and writing but drawing was his passion.
Nathaniel is survived by his mother, Frances B. Evanston of Somerton, AZ; brothers, Remegius San Diego and Corinthian Barley of Somerton, AZ; aunts, Myrtle Davis, Pauline Allen, and Georgina Portillo of Somerton, AZ; 4 step-brothers; 2 step-sisters; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Thelma Davis; great-grandmother, Martha Davis; and great-grandfather, Slim Davis.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel, 795 W 28th Street, Yuma. Traditional tribal rites will follow at East Cocopah Indian Reservation Cry House. Cremation will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2014.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Brown, Mitchell Davis, Warrior Nierenhausen, David Sanchez, Tim Williams, Pete Rose III, Richard White Jr.,
Keith Villanueva Sr., and Daniel Padilla.
