
Patrick O. Davis, 84, passed away Aug. 6 at his Yuma home. Born in Bellingham, Washington.
Patrick is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Nell Davis, 4 children - Deborah Diessler of Auburn, Wa, William Davis of Bellingham, Wa., Chip Davis of Lynnwood, Wa. and Roxanne Davis of Auburn, Wa., 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and brothers Phillip Davis of Hawaii, and Donald and Edward Davis, both of Tacoma, Wa.
The Davis' came to Yuma in 1986 as snowbirds and made it their home in 1991. They were active in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, with Pat being instrumental in forming their bridge club. He was an active volunteer at YRMC and was a driver for local disabled veterans needing transportation to Tucson.
Patrick retired from the NAVY in 1952 and married Nell October 14 that same year and resided in Tacoma. Pat was an appliance repair technician, managed an appliance shop and then opened his own appliance store in Seattle.
Services will be 10 a.m. this Saturday, August 13, 2011 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with a reception immediately following in the Kinsolving Room. Final burial will be in the memorial garden at the Church of the Redeemer in Kenmore, Wa.
Donations can be made to Hospice Compassus or the Prayers in Squares at St. Paul's Church.
